ROSIE SECKER, BMus (Hons), MA
Rosie trained in the vocal and operatic department at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with a First Class BMus (Hons). She went on to pursue a Master of Arts at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. As a performer, Rosie has worked in opera, musical theatre, choral, film and is currently a sought after jazz vocalist.
Rosie is passionate about music education and has worked with children and adults in state, private and higher education. Rosie believes in nurturing a free and healthy voice, whilst finding expression and emotion through song. Trained in Estill Vocal Technique, Rosie ensures students have a technical understanding of how their voice works.
Rosie is a certified 500hr Yoga Teacher. Rosie now specialises in Yoga for Singers, using movement and yoga to free up the voice. In addition to working with organisations and singers all over the world, Rosie runs her own group classes where you an explore this further.
Rosie currently holds teaching posts at Bird College (teaching on the Diploma and Degree Musical Theatre course) and teaches individual lessons and leads two choirs at LOGS.
